Your 1 Day Rwanda Kigali City Tour starts at 8am, with a brief introduction at your hotel. Later we leave for a fulfilling great day of exploring boiling various hot spots in the Kigali city. Absorb unobstructed views of the green capital full of palm trees and beautiful traffic lights, as you zip between landmarks including a start with a hike to Mount Kigali which is roughly an hour’s hike, where you have a whole view of the Kigali city, you will later descend and drive to Nyamirambo. A drive around Nyamirambo, which is known as the old Kigali, where you will later take a roughly 1 hour walk with the Nyamirambo Women Group as you discover in and out of Kigali’s hot spots, starting your walking with some learning of Kinyarwanda words, visit a local Milk Bar, meet the Nyamirambo local venders selling their food crops, visit Nyamirambo Cassava project, see cassava leave processing for local dish, visit hair dressing saloon, and try out a free braid and meet and greet some locals as you weave around, at the end of the walk, reward yourself with some local African Kinyarwanda cuisine, as you taste the bites. You will later proceed with a drive to visit Kigali Genocide Memorial Ground, where Rwandans, victims of the 1994 geocide incident, were laid to rest in a mass grave. There are details to read from, and video clips to listen to, as to take a walk around the museum. After the museum tour, you will wind your day tour with a drive to Kimironko local market to have an experience of traditional Rwandan culture, where you will see the food crops, art crafts etc. and later visit one of the art craft shops before ending the day. Your tour ends at 5.00pm with a drop off at the hotel.  Also include half day Nyamirambo women with lunch.
