This 7 Days Safari Trip is to introduce you to the gorgeous beautiful face of the wonders of the pearl of Africa Uganda. It will include visitation of Murchison falls national park famously known as the world’s most powerful waterfalls, largest national park in Uganda with over 76 mammals, 451 birds species, with a rich biome of tropical rain forests inhabited by monkeys, chimps, baboons and diverse forest birds. The trip will reach you to the African true wilderness landscapes of Kiidepo valley national park a place of depression engulfed with huge rocks ad mountains shaping the skyline, casts to us cheetahs, ostriches and a number of herbivore and carnivores. It will include nature walks, night game drives to experience nocturnal wildlife species and behavior like porcupines, leopards, genet cats, and male lion roars etc., wilderness bush camping and sunrise-sunset experiences. Uganda through this trip, you’re to get up close to the hidden treasures of Nature in Uganda. This amazing cocktail of wildlife and adventure is to reignite the spirits exploration and kick down to relax unwinding in the heart of Mama Africa.

Brief Itinerary

Day 1: Pickup from Entebbe International Airport and transfer to hotel.
Day 2: Transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park and camping.
Day 3: Game drive and Karamojong visit and camping.
Day 4: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park.
Day 5: Game drive, Top of the falls and Boat cruise.
Day 6: Relaxation and Night game drive
Day 7: Transfer to Zziwa rhino sanctuary for rhino tracking and proceed to hotel or airport in Entebbe.

Detailed Itinerary

DAY 1: Pick up from Entebbe International Airport

Our representative tour guide will receive you at Entebbe International Airport and transfer you to the hotel. Rest and enjoy dinner at Papaya hotel.

DAY 2: Transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park “True African Wilderness”

After breakfast, you will be briefed about the safari and embark on your journey to Kidepo Valley National Park located in Kaabong district. A national park with breathtaking landscape and abundant wildlife. Kidepo Valley National Park has a diverse fauna, with over 80 species of mammals and five primate species, including – Greater eland- Greater and lesser kudu- Caracal- Cheetah- Mountain reedbuck- Guenther’s dik-dik- Kavirondo Bush Baby- Patas monkey- Oribi- Eland- Klipspringer- Bright Gazell- Beisa Ory- Roan Antelope
The park is also home to a rich reptile fauna and around 450 bird species, including ostrich,Karamoja apalis, red-throated bee-eater, Verreaux’s eagle, black breasted barbet, Kori bustard, and pygmy falcon. It takes between 10 to 12 hours’ drive from kampala to kidepo. On arrival, enjoy dinner and proceed to the kakinne bush campsite, which has a 360 degree view onto Narus Valley. DAY 3: Nature walk, Morning and Night game drive

Bush sunrise breakfast is served! Thereafter proceed for a morning game drive at the Narus valley where you will expect to spot mammals and different birds’ species including lions, hippos, wild dogs, buffaloes, elephants, waterbucks, warthogs and leopards. It is popular with visitors because of the beautiful sceneries and diverse population of wildlife species. Enjoy the landscape, unspoiled wilderness, panoramic view of the valley and Kidepo plains during the game drive. Drive to Savannah safari lodge for lunch and relax. In the evening, embark on a guided night game drive which is usually the highlight of ending your day at Kidepo Valley National park. Expect to experience nocturnal behaviors like lion roars, hyenas’ laughing, hunting, and herding and view nocturnal wildlife species such as the owls, leopard, hyena, dik dik, porcupines, genet cats, night jars, mangoes. Enjoy your bush dinner, campfire and overnight at campsite with park ranger.

DAY 4: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park “world’s most powerful waterfalls”

Enjoy bush breakfast and our driver guide will transfer you to Murchison Falls National Park located in North West Uganda and the largest Uganda safari park. It is known for Murchison Falls where the Victoria Nile River passes through a narrow gap. It is one of the most powerful waterfalls in Africa which a very good spot for visitors to capture pictures for memories. Have lunch enroute and on arrival rest at the safari lodge. DAY 5: Game drive, Boat cruise and Top of falls

Get ready for some adventure! With your guide, experience early dawn morning breakfast and begin your sunrise game drive to stand a chance to spot predators and expect herds of herbivore animals that are easily seen in the early morning. Expect to see other wildlife species such as elephants, hippos, oribis, buffaloes, giraffes birds, butterflys, among others. The game drive will take about 3 hours. Thereafter, return to lodge for a lunch break and proceed for a boat cruise to the magnificent Murchison falls where you expect to see humongous hippos and Nile crocodiles, different aquatic bird species up to the bottom of Murchison falls, and it will take about 2 hours. After the boat cruise trip, you’ll drive back to the safari lodge and relax. Dinner and overnight at campsite.

DAY 6: Relaxation and Night game drive

You will have a more relaxed morning with bush breakfast served at the campsite. Relax throughout early morning hours, observing nature, trees, sceneries, flying birds, and savannah breeze at the campsite. Enjoy bush lunch at the campsite, watch sunset and later in the evening, go for a night game drive to conclude the day. The drive will give you a chance to expect nocturnal animals you might have missed during the previous game drives and rare nocturnal behaviors such as hunting, roaring, herding etc. You will then drive back to the campsite for your last night at Murchison, go to pakuba safari lodge to fully freshen up, arrange for departure and to have breakfast at the lodge the next day.

DAY 7: Zziwa rhino wildlife ranch and Transfer to Entebbe

Enjoy your breakfast and our guide will drive you to the home of the only white rhinos (endangered creatures) in Uganda located in Nakasongola district. You will have a nature walk as you draw closer to the rhinos. Take in what nature has got to give for an hour having a face to face with the rhinos, learning their behavior and return from your nature walk. Have lunch and your guide will drive to Entebbe where you can rest at your hotel or to the airport for your flight back home.
