3 Days Gorilla tracking safari
This 3 days gorilla tracking safari in Uganda takes you to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park in south western Uganda the home of gorillas. This park is known to be the top destination for gorilla tracking in the world because it has the highest population of gorillas than any other national park in the world.
Bwindi is a home of more than 21 gorilla families in four sectors of Rushaga, Ruhija, Buhoma and Nkuringo. You can track from any of the four sectors and each gives a thrilling experience. This gorilla safari is suitable for those with less time to spend on a trip. You enjoy spending a full hour in the presence of mountain gorillas which is also known as an experience one must experience once in a lifetime.
Day1: Arrival and |transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park
On your arrival, you will be welcomed by our professional guise and drive. You will be briefed about the trip and then transfer by road to Bwindi. On your way, you will have a stopover in Kawalya for equator experience. You will have a brief experiment at the equator line and take a moment for photos.
You will proceed and have a stopover for lunch in Masaka city and then proceed to Bwindi where you will check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day2: Gorilla Trekking adventure and cultural encounter in Bwindi
You will wake up early in the morning and go for briefing at the starting point. You will then proceed to the trilling adventure of trekking in the forests. Locating the gorillas in their natural habitats is not predictable on where to find them. Upon spotting the gentle giants, you will spend one full hour with them and this is an experience of the lifetime. You will need to go with packed snacks and drinking water, well dressed to face the jungle.
After the experience, you will return to your lodge for lunch and then take a rest as you get ready for evening cultural experience. You will then get on cultural experience where you will have a chance to encounter the Batwa tribe one of the few remaining indigenous tribes in Uganda who used to stay in the forests of Bwindi.
Day3: Transfer to Kampala or Entebbe international airport.
On this last day of your 3 days gorilla tracking safari you will checkout from your lodge and embark on your trip back to Kampala. You will enjoy the beautiful scenery of Kigezi terraces and highlands as you drive our ob Western region. You will have a stopover for lunch and proceed to the airport or your hotel.
