This 4 Days Gorilla Trekking safari in Bwindi is an adventure that gives you full tour of Bwindi impenetrable national park and it is a trekking experience of a life time.

Bwindi is a home of the endangered mountain gorillas and number one destination for gorilla trekking in the world. The biggest number of mountain gorillas is found in this park. Therefore you are sure of enjoying a thrilling moment with these amazing gentle giants in this forest rich in flora and fauna. Gorilla trekking is an exercise that everyone should do in a life time to search for these amazing primates in their natural habitats.

Bwindi is a home of 350 bird species, 310 butterfly species, 51 reptiles, 200 trees, 10 primates and 120 mammal species. Therefore apart from the gorillas, this destination is a rich foresy in biodiversity in Uganda.

Day1: Arrival and hotel transfer in Kampala

On your arrival for your 4 Days Gorilla Trekking safari in Bwindi, you will get a warm welcome from our staff and they will brief you about the trip. You will then be transferred to your hotel in Kampala to relax from the long flights and have dinner and more relaxation and overnight.

Day2; Road transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park

You will wake up and have your breakfast and start off your journey to Bwindi. You will have a stopover in Kawalya for equator experience and then proceed to Mbarara city where you will have your stopover You then proceed to Bwindi where you will check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight as you prepare for the trekking day.

Day3; Gorilla Trekking day Batwa encounter in Bwindi

On this tracking day, you will have very early breakfast and go for briefing at the starting point of the trekking. You will then go in search of these endangered primates. Trekking experience can take 3-8 hours depending on the location where they are feeding from. When you get to these gentle giants, you will spend one full hour with them observing their behaviours, interactions grooming and feeding among others. Remember to carry drinking water and some snacks in your back pack.

You will return to your lodge for lunch and then take afternoon rest as you get ready for evening Batwa cultural experience. Batwa people are the local tribe that stayed in the forests with gorillas before they were relocated by the government.  Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day4: Transfer back to Entebbe international airport.

On this last day of your 4 Days Gorilla Trekking safari, you will have your breakfast and then checkout from your lodge. You will then start the journey to airport with your guide. Have a lunch stopover and proceed to the airport or your hotel depending on your flight time.
