3 Days Kampala and Entebbe city tour
This 3 days Kampala and Entebbe city tour as the name suggests is about two old cities in Central Uganda just situated nest to each other.
Kampala a city of seven hills of Nakasero, Kiburi, Kololo, Makerere, Mulago, Mengo, Rubaga and Kasubi but the city has expanded to other hills. With some major attractions like the historical Mengo hill which has the Rubiri (Kabaka’s palace), Buganda parliament, Kasubi royal tombs (world heritage site), Namugongo Martyrs shrine, Gaddafi national mosque among others.
Wildlife adventure is also part of this adventure especially in the city of Entebbe where you explore the Uganda wildlife education center formally known as Entebbe zoo. This is the only place you can sight tigers in Uganda.
Entebbe is the historical city of Uganda and it was developed before Kampala during the colonial time. This is manifested in the old structures in the city with the old architecture from the colonialists. You will also spot some water bucks, elephant, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, chimpanzees and more wildlife species. Bird spaces like Uganda crested crane and the rare shoe bill stork among others can also be spotted in this center.
You will also enjoy the fresh air on Lake Victoria as you take a boat to the equator line just in the middle of Lake Victoria. Entebbe with more attractions like the botanical gardens and even optional of visiting Mabamba swamp for the birding experience.
Day1: Arrival and Entebbe city tour
On your arrival at Entebbe international Airport, you will be welcomed by our guide who will brief you about this 3 Days Kampala and Entebbe city tour. He will transfer you to your lodge for your check in and lunch. You will then get ready for the afternoon visit to Entebbe wildlife Education center. This is where you will get a chance to site wildlife in captivity like lions, tigers, leopard, chimpanzees and others. You will also see different bird species including crested crane and rare shoebill stork among others and the only home to tigers in Uganda.
You will also visit the Entebbe botanical gardens where you will find different tree species that we have in Uganda and end your day with the visit to the equator line on Lake Victoria. This will give you a great moment to take photos for the memories of your safari and then you will then get back to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day2: Transfer to Kampala and city tour
You will have your breakfast and get on the car with your guide to Kampala via Entebbe express which can take less than one hour to reach. You will start by visiting the historical sites like Kasubi tombs the burial grounds of the royal kings of Buganda Kingdom. You will also proceed to the famous Namugongo shrine. This is the place where 22 Uganda martyrs were burnt to death due to their faith. The presence of the shrine with twenty-two pillars built by missionaries will remind you that the faith of these martyrs is the seed of Christianity in the country. As exploration and educational moments, you will also learn how these martyrs were executed by the then king of Buganda in a brutal manner because they were loyal to their faith.
You will also visit the Baha’i temple which is one of its kind in Africa. You can also learn about their way of Praying. You will get lunch and then visit the local market. Nakasero market is famous for the fresh foods and fruits which are available throughout the year. You will interact with the locals who are always happy to take photos with tourists as you enjoy your adventure. You will return to Entebbe for dinner and overnight.

Day3: Equator Experience on Lake Victoria and airport Transfer
You will wake up and enjoy your breakfast as you enjoy the cool breeze from Lake Victoria and then get ready for a boat ride. You will get on a speed boat to the equator line in the middle of Lake Victoria. You will have a photo moment on this small island and then return to the shore. You will then be transferred to Entebbe as this marks the end of your 3 Days Kampala and Entebbe City tour.
